Located centrally in the heart of Carson City; adjacent to Mills Park and the Aquatic Center, the Community Center is easily accessible from Hwy-395, I-580, Hwy-50E (at corner of Roop St.), and includes a 584-seat theater; 9,810 square foot gymnasium; large board room; one classroom-style meeting room, two fitness classrooms, and a commercial kitchen.

Bob Boldrick Theater 

A well-equipped theater which accommodates an evening's entertainment for up to 584 people (564 general seating, 10 wheelchairs, and 10 companions). Setting and technical equipment can be provided for such events as plays, lectures, movies, concerts, and religious services.

Bonanza Room

The Bonanza Room is located on the East side of the Community Center. There is approximately 750 square feet, allowing for an approximate seating capacity of 40 theater style with a head table. Two tables and 40 chairs are included in the standard rental fee. Additional tables can be rented at additional cost; however, no more than six tables can be accommodated in this room, and the seating capacity is reduced. This room is carpeted, has fluorescent lighting and a multi-media presentation board mounted on one wall

Gymnasium (Generally Non-Reservable. Please call for availability.)

A 9,810 square foot gymnasium consisting primarily of a basketball court and bleachers. The commercial kitchen is attached to the gymnasium. 

Robert "Bob" Crowell Board Room (Generally Available Weekends Only. Please call for availability.)

The Robert "Bob" Crowell Board Room is located on the West side of the Community Center. There is approximately 1,457 square feet, allowing for a seating capacity of about 40 theater style. Two tables and 40 chairs are included in the standard rental fee. Additional tables can be rented for an additional fee; however, no more than 6 tables can be accommodated in this room and the seating capacity would be reduced. This room is carpeted, has LED lighting and is also equipped with an audio visual system and a small hand sink. This room is used by the Board of Supervisors for Carson City. Therefore, if a meeting is called, they have bumping rights. In this event, everything possible shall be done to move your event to another room or reschedule it for the earliest date available.

Comstock Room (Generally Non-Reservable. Please call for availability.)

The Comstock Room is also located on the East side of the Community Center's Gym.  This room has recently been converted to a classroom with a special exercise floor and is currently being used for exercise classes. Consequently, the room is unavailable for rentals or meetings.

Tahoe Room (Generally Non-Reservable. Please call for availability.)

The Tahoe Room is located on the West side of the Community Center.  The room is designed for fitness activities with a specialized low impact floor. The Tahoe Room is 1,750 square feet and has a maximum capacity 116 people.
